If these prisoners are not exposed to outside world, they will tend to believe that the shadows that are unmistakable are the forms of the world. When they are exposed to the outside world, which is the truth, they will not be able to accept it immediately and will have difficulty in soul and adjusting to the light and other objects of truth in the world. Through this explanation, Plato explained the relationship between knowledge and reality that is connected through wisdom.
